THIS IS MY STORY

Dr. John Froiland is an Educational Psychology professor at Purdue University in West Lafayette. Throughout his distinguished career, he has inspired innumerable students and professionals to seek careers in psychology. He has written over 65 papers and book chapters on topics ranging from psychology to human development.

Neben his productive career as a researcher, school psychologist, and academic professional, he also consults with multiple researchers, schools and universities to help leaders understand what they need to do to better engage and support students and employees. In his spare time, he gives back to the communities that have helped him during his career.

Dr. Froiland's BEAR Model
The BEAR model is one of Dr. John Froiland's many contributions to the field. This concept emphasizes optimal parent participation in early childhood and high school education. Sadly, many parents are not interested in their children's education, which can hinder their success in a competitive atmosphere. The BEAR approach helps parents get involved in their children's education, which has been proven to help them do better in school.
